Knowledge & Technical Qualifications Mechatronics, electronics, and automation knowledge with the ability to identify electrical and electronic systems. Experience with GuardLogix, Siemens HMI, Logix5000, and other human‑machine interfaces. Knowledge of motors and variable‑frequency drives (VFDs). Proficiency with Ethernet communication protocol and DeviceNet communication protocol. Understanding of OSHA safety standards. FANUC robot programming and troubleshooting skills. Skills Strong understanding of complex electrical concepts and control principles. Analytical ability to solve complex problems. Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work effectively in a team. Working Conditions On‑site, full‑time position requiring work on rotating shifts (4 x 3). Responsibilities include the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities using GM standard maintenance systems.
