About The Role We’re looking for a curious, hands‑on IT Support Specialist to join our lean IT team. This isn’t a traditional helpdesk role — you will be a part of a 2‑person team, meaning you will be doing a bit of everything (which will provide you exposure to many systems and technologies). You’ll be responsible for keeping our systems running, managing access and devices across a mostly macOS environment, and contributing to internal tooling projects — including AI‑assisted development with tools like Claude Code. One of our previous IT team members progressed into our SRE team. We see this role as a genuine launchpad for ambitious engineers who want to grow into infrastructure, reliability, or platform engineering. What You’ll Do Manage macOS fleet via Kandji MDM — deployments, policies, and our custom OpenVPN setup Act as the gatekeeper for access management — onboarding, offboarding, SSO, and permissions Support Slack and Jira‑based IT requests, triage issues, and resolve them efficiently Collaborate with our SRE team on infrastructure awareness and escalations Document runbooks, processes, and internal guides clearly and consistently Occasionally support Windows (and a couple Linux) users alongside our primary macOS environment Use available platforms to automate common requests and reduce toil What We’re Looking For Core IT skills Solid macOS administration experience — you know the OS, not just the UI Terminal comfort — enough to read logs, and not panic Experience with MDM tools (Kandji, Jamf, or similar) Identity and access management — Okta, Google Workspace, SSO basics Mindset You ask \"why does this keep happening?\" before closing a ticket You’re comfortable with ambiguity and can prioritise without hand‑holding You write things down — runbooks, notes, decisions You want to understand how things work, not just fix symptoms Nice to Have Curiosity about AI‑assisted development tools (Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) Experience with Docker or containers at a basic level Networking fundamentals: VLANs, firewalls, switches, VPN concepts Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, Datadog, etc.) Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms Any Slack bot, webhook, or internal tooling project you’ve built — even a small one Scripts & automation — you don’t need to be a software engineer, but you should be comfortable writing and maintaining scripts helping with daily tasks What We Offer A team that treats IT as engineering, not just support Real autonomy to build tooling, propose improvements, and own projects Opportunity for engineering progression for the right candidate A lean, collaborative team where your contributions are visible and valued Fully remote working Benefits & Perks Attractive compensation package consisting of base salary and the potential to earn a significant bonus for top performance Opportunity to have a real impact in a high‑growth global category leader 40% discount on all Fever events and experiences Private health Insurance 20 days off annually Wellhub membership English Lessons Responsibility from day one and professional and personal growth Great work environment with a young, international team of talented people to work with!
