As the Plant Controller , you will serve as the strategic financial leader for our Apodaca manufacturing site. This facility specializes in high-precision metal fabrication and complex component assembly. We are looking for a high-impact business partner who does more than report numbers—you will own the P&L, drive operational profitability, and instill financial discipline across all functional areas, from engineering to logistics. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Financial Leadership Act as a key advisor to Plant Management, providing forecasts, budgets, and cost‑control strategies that align with corporate growth objective. s.Influence operational decision‑making by providing financial perspective to production, purchasing, engineering, and quality departments. 2. Operational Excellence & Cost Accounting Utilize deep knowledge of the manufacturing process to identify cost drivers and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure rigorous financial discipline in accordance with GAAP and internal corporate policies. Manage the full financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all reporting. 3. Business Partnership Develop sophisticated financial models and analyses that translate complex data into actionable insights for the operations team. Foster a culture of accountability and financial acumen throughout the organization. Represent the plant’s interests in communications with both local leadership and global stakeholder. Requirements A minimum of 7–10 years of progressive financial leadership within a manufacturing environment. Specific experience in the metal-mecha nic or precision fabrication industry is highly preferred. Leadership: At least 6 years in a Plant Controller or similar site‑lead role. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. An MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred. Technical Certifications: CMA or CPA designation is a significant advantage. Analytical Skills: Expert‑level knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and high‑mix/low‑volume production financial cycles.
