Location: Mexico City, México (MX-MEX), Mexico (MX) A Day in the Life The Technical Service Representative provides bakery and snack food shortenings and oils application support to customers and the Bunge Oils’ sales organization via personal visits, telephone, and email correspondence. In conjunction with sales, the representative defines the best way to support customers’ requests, identifies their needs and assists them. What You'll Be Doing Responsible for bakery and snack food shortenings and oils application support to customers and the Bunge Oils’ sales organization. Corresponds with customers under guidance from sales or the supervisor on the promotion of Bunge Oils’ bakery and snack food shortening and oils products. Develops and maintains mastery of the Bunge Oils’ product line as applied to bakery and snack food products. Stays abreast of the latest application developments in the use of shortenings, margarines, and oils in bakery and snack food products. Works with the supervisor to prioritize requests, ensuring that application support to key accounts is promptly and accurately delivered. Recommends sales lead qualification to the supervisor for distribution to sales. Keeps records and documentation of all correspondence. Assists in the technical training of the Bunge Oils’ sales force. Participates as a lecturer and demonstrator of Bunge Oils’ product line in the enrollment and continuing education of Bunge Oils’ sales force and other relevant Bunge Oils’ internal groups. Provides application support to Bunge Oils’ sales and other relevant internal groups via telephone or email correspondence. Assists sales and other groups on specific key customer needs. Provides input into cost saving, quality and product improvement opportunities. Externally represents Bunge Oils as a technical resource. May give technical presentations at key customers. May give technical presentations at scientific meetings. Responsible for the application details of projects that have been assigned. Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree or Master in Food Science or Bakery Science. Minimum of 4 years experience as a Tech Service Representative or equivalent. Proven results in high performance teams achieving common goals. Ability to adapt to, work in and influence a multi‑cultural environment and team. General understanding of food production processes. Ability to recognize, understand, properly communicate, and follow up on new trends in the food industry and final consumer products market. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Improves Bunge's outcomes through data‑driven decisions, keeping the customer at the forefront, and proactively gaining insight into the global strategy. Collaborates, effectively communicates with others, and takes initiative to continually develop themselves.
