BMC IT is seeking a Lead Technology Solution Specialist with deep expertise in Application Infrastructure Architecture, DevOps, and Enterprise Operations. This role is responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting highly available, secure, and scalable application platforms across hybrid cloud environments (On Prem, SaaS, PaaS). The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on technical capabilities, experience leading enterprise‑scale production environments, and a proven track record of improving system resilience, automation, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Manage and support production application environments, ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and security. Lead incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis (RCA) for critical production issues. Design and maintain application infrastructure architectures across hybrid cloud platforms. Enforce IT governance, security policies, and compliance standards for applications and infrastructure. Implement DevOps and DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, security analysis, remediation and integration. Reduce MTTR and outage windows through automation, proactive monitoring, and observability solutions. Collaborate with application, network, security, and platform teams to troubleshoot and assess business impact. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for application upgrades, patching, and infrastructure optimization. Provide technical leadership, stakeholder communication, and cross team coordination. Participate in 24x7 on‑call rotations as required. Required Skills & Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in Application Infrastructure Design, DevOps / DevSecOps, Enterprise IT Operations. Proven experience in large‑scale enterprise environments. Core Technical Skills Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, and/or Azure for scalable AI implementation. Agentic AI & RAG: Designing autonomous agent systems and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines. Microsoft Power Platform and co‑pilot experience preferred. MLOps/AIOps: Skills in automating, managing, and monitoring AI agents, pipelines and agent security. CI/CD & Automation: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Control M, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Shell Scripting. ITSM / Service Management: Incident, Change, and Problem Management, Remedy or equivalent ITSM platforms. Preferred / Nice to Have Skills Identity & Access Management: Okta SSO, LDAP, Active Directory. Monitoring & Observability: BMC TrueSight, ELK Stack (or equivalent), AI/ML‑enabled monitoring solutions. Experience with enterprise disaster recovery planning and execution. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience working with global, distributed, multicultural teams. Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and fast‑changing environments.
