Job Description Mentor, train and develop associates as Problem Solving Leaders or Sponsors following a strategic thinking and structured method to find and eliminate technical and managerial root causes. Support Value Stream organizations by coaching Problem Solving Teams to fix critical and repetitive problems. Coordinate the Project selection criteria through the Steering Committee (VS, MSE, Plant level) based on how Plant Indicators area affected. Ensure that projects selected have all resources assigned (Leader, Sponsor, time, etc). Coach Problem Solving techniques and strategic thinking. Perform periodic project status review with sponsors and leaders. Manage and track JuP1 personnel trained and certified in Problem Solving Methodologies and projects implemented by these associates. Track Problem Solving Projects (Status, savings, next steps, etc).( Assess projects to evaluate quality and report cost avoidance from closed projects. Identify and remove barriers to project success. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in problem solving, especially in a Manufacturing area. Certified as Shainin Journeyman preferred (or during the first 2 years in the role). Certified as Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. Trained in 8D methodology. Logical and strategic thinking. Knowledge in descriptive statistics and statistical inference. Experience with statistical software tools such as Minitab, Red X Tracker, JMP, etc. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Proactive, teamwork, and good communication skills. Leadership ability. Data analytics skills. Languages: English (advanced level).
