Company Description Algo Grande Copper Corp. is a copper exploration company dedicated to advancing the Adelita Copper-Gold Project in Sonora, Mexico — a district-scale skarn-porphyry system with expanding mineralized envelopes and strong exploration upside. Role Description We are seeking a field-ready Exploration Geologist to join our technical team and contribute directly to the systematic advancement of the Cerro Grande skarn system and surrounding porphyry targets. This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role centered on geological mapping, drill core logging, and 3D interpretation across active exploration and drill programs. The role is field-based in Sonora, Mexico. The successful candidate must be ready to spend significant time on the project site and start as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities Geological mapping of skarn, porphyry, and associated alteration systems across the project area Drill core logging including lithology, alteration, mineralization, and structural features Sampling and QA/QC protocol execution in accordance with NI43‑101 best practices Compilation, validation, and interpretation of geological, geochemical, and structural datasets Contribution to 3D geological modelling in Leapfrog Production of technical maps, sections, and internal reporting outputs Adherence to health, safety, environmental, and community engagement standards at all times Technical Requirements Open to Mexican, Chilean, or Peruvian nationals BSc or MSc in Geology or Geological Engineering Minimum 5 years of mineral exploration experience Strong field skills in geological mapping and drill core logging Proficiency with QGIS or ArcGIS, and Leapfrog3D Experience with porphyry systems and skarns is highly valuable Valid driver's licence and able to operate 4x4 vehicles in field conditions Available to start immediately Fluency in Spanish required; working English strongly preferred Personal Profile Field-ready and comfortable in remote environments Detail‑oriented with high standards for geological accuracy Operationally disciplined and safety‑focused Able to work independently while integrating into a growing technical team Motivated by discovery and systematic target advancement What We Offer Opportunity to work on a rapidly advancing Cu‑Au system with clear scale potential Direct exposure to technical decision‑making and exploration strategy Competitive compensation aligned with experience Career growth within an expanding exploration platform Competitive roster #J-18808-Ljbffr
