Airswift is looking for a Production Manager to work on a permanent contract in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico, with a drilling services company. The role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of hydrocarbon production across all Bacab-Lum assets through integrated planning, supervision, and optimization of wells, facilities, and artificial lift systems, aligning industry best practices with the company's operational, financial, and safety objectives. Responsibilities Direct and supervise all production activities well, ensuring compliance with daily, weekly, and monthly plans. Ensure the safe and continuous operation of production systems, adhering to QHSE standards and current regulations. Monitor, analyze, and optimize key performance indicators (BPD, uptime, production increase, OPEX/BOE, operational efficiency). Manage and optimize artificial lift systems (ESP, BN, SN, gas lift, or others), nodal analysis, and production testing. Design and implement strategies for production optimization, water/gas/chemical injection, pressure control, and enhanced oil recovery. Coordinate well interventions and maintenance, including workovers, equipment replacements, and preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Ensure accurate measurement, validation, and recording of production, including approvals and data reconciliation. Lead multidisciplinary teams in the areas of production, engineering, maintenance, logistics, contracts, finance, and warehousing. Implement continuous improvement methodologies to optimize processes, reduce operational costs, and maximize profitability. Efficiently manage human, material, and budgetary resources allocated to operations. Prepare and present technical and executive reports on well performance, production, costs, and operational risks. Participate in the short-, medium-, and long-term strategic planning of the asset, aligned with corporate objectives. Ensure the correct application of internal policies, procedures, and guidelines in production operations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field (diploma and certificate required). Strong experience in the oil and gas industry, with experience in production leadership. Proven experience in the operation of production fields, preferably in operating companies. Solid knowledge in production engineering and well optimization. Solid knowledge of artificial lift systems. Solid knowledge of multiphase metering and production reporting. Solid knowledge of water/gas injection and enhanced oil recovery. Solid knowledge and experience in nodal analysis and well performance evaluation. Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and in hypothesis testing. Knowledge of industrial and environmental safety standards.
