Responsibilities Supports a positive guidance to managers; responding to employee inquiries and all other employee relations issues. Responds effectively and quickly to employee relations inquiries Documents all employee relations matters as appropriate for the situation in accordance with legal compliance and organizational policies and procedures Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and provincial requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records Facilitates the open-door policy process and workplace concerns Support the HR department with a variety of HR projects, programs, and initiatives Advise managers on best practices related to recruitment, employee relations, human rights legislation, and all applicable employment laws Support full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles as needed, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination Facilitate new employee orientations to ensure a smooth and engaging onboarding experience Plan and coordinate employee relations initiatives including engagement events, recognition programs, and team activities that strengthen morale, reduce conflict, and support a positive workplace culture Maintain and regularly review job descriptions to ensure accuracy and alignment with business needs Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends to support retention strategies and continuous improvement Promote and maintain compliance with Charger's health and safety policies and practices Responds to employee policy or misconduct violations and performance improvement needs for routine cases. Assists managers with guidance on process, coaching skills and appropriate documentation Qualifications Advanced English skills College Diploma or University Degree in Human Resources is preferred Minimum two years’ experience working in Employee Relations, Training, Counseling, Coaching and Disciplining Employees. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate with line level employees and all levels of management. Knowledge of employee relations practices, procedures and applicable State and Federal labor laws, and regulations.
