Responsible for setting policy and process for importation/exportation and shipment of materials, equipment, products, pacI‹ages and documents including fulfillment of customs requirements; ensure compliance with the home and foreign country government laws and customs regulations. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary leader of trade compliance efforts in the Latin America region. Audit trade practices across all locations in Latin America and implement a risk reduction strategy. Supervise the Customs Analyst staff in Mexico and ensure full compliance with the existing IMMEX Manual. Continue the Mexico duty drawback program and identify cost‑saving projects across the region. Provide ongoing formal training on compliance‑related matters. Further develop the GTS NAFTA system to play a larger role in determining NAFTA eligibility and certificate issuance. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience related to Export/Import Logistics and/or Customs Compliance. Bachelor’s degree related. Experience in create or improve processes, standards or operational plans that support achievement of departmental goals.
