Senior Manager, Program Management (Retail Transformation – POS) At Publicis Sapient, we’re looking for a Senior Manager, Program Management to lead a large-scale Point of Sale (POS) transformation program for one of the region’s leading retailers. In this role, you will operate as an embedded, trusted delivery leader , partnering closely with client business and technology executives to drive a complex, multi-year transformation across POS, Supply Chain, and Retail Operations . This is a high-impact leadership role where success is measured not only by delivery, but by tangible business outcomes, operational efficiency, and elevated customer and associate experiences . Your Impact Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale POS transformation program , from strategy and roadmap definition through execution and stabilization. Orchestrate multiple workstreams across POS platforms, supply chain, store operations, integrations, and data ecosystems . Ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business objectives , driving measurable value. Act as the primary delivery partner to client leadership , embedding within their organization and aligning on priorities, governance, and operating rhythms. Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and executive sponsors , influencing decisions and driving alignment. Represent Publicis Sapient as a credible, strategic delivery leader . Program Governance & Execution Excellence Establish and lead robust program governance frameworks , including roadmap planning, dependency management, and executive reporting. Proactively manage risks, scope, budget, timelines, and quality across a complex transformation landscape. Ensure transparency and accountability through data-driven reporting and KPIs . Cross-Functional Orchestration Coordinate globally distributed teams across product, engineering, client teams, and third-party vendors . Drive alignment across multiple functions, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution. Operate effectively in hybrid delivery environments (Agile at scale, SAFe, and hybrid models) . Value-Driven Transformation Ensure all initiatives are tied to business outcomes , including scalability, operational efficiency, and improved customer and in-store experiences. Continuously optimize delivery approaches to enhance speed, quality, and impact . Skills & Experience 15+ years of experience leading large-scale, enterprise transformation programs. Proven track record delivering POS modernization or retail transformation initiatives in complex environments. Strong expertise in Supply Chain and Retail Operations , including integration with POS, inventory, fulfillment, and logistics systems. Demonstrated success managing multi-year, multi-workstream programs with high business and technology complexity. Experience working in client-embedded or staff augmentation models , partnering closely with client leadership teams. Deep expertise in program governance, financial management, risk mitigation, and delivery excellence . Strong experience engaging with executive stakeholders and steering committees , with the ability to influence without authority. Familiarity with Agile at scale (SAFe), hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery models . Excellent communication and leadership skills , with the ability to translate complex delivery topics into clear executive insights.
