Demand Planning Analyst – Monterrey Responsible for analyzing data, developing accurate demand forecasts, and providing valuable insights to support decision‑making processes. Their role is critical in ensuring the company meets market demand effectively. Key Responsibilities Data Collection: Gather historical sales data, customer orders, and other relevant information from various sources to create a comprehensive database for demand forecasting analysis. Data Analysis: Utilize statistical methods, data analysis tools, and software to analyze historical data, identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, and extract meaningful insights to inform forecasting models. Forecasting Models: Develop and implement demand forecasting models using statistical techniques, time series analysis, and predictive analytics. Use software tools like advanced Excel or Python. Accuracy Monitoring: Regularly monitor the accuracy of forecasting models by comparing predicted values with actual sales data. Identify discrepancies and adjust the models as necessary to improve accuracy. Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analysis as required by the management or other departments. Provide quick and accurate analyses to address specific business questions or concerns. Report Generation: Generate regular and ad hoc reports summarizing forecasting results, accuracy levels, and insights derived from the analysis. Distribute reports to relevant stakeholders within the organization. Qualifications & Experience Experience analyzing large databases. Intercultural competencies from international experience or personal background. Minimum 2 years’ experience using Excel. Capable to understand and analyse impacts of business decisions on financial results. Excellent MS Excel skill. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Very good communication skills, organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work with tight deadlines. Multi-tasking; strong in data mining and consolidating large amounts of data; proactive. Proactive and willing to continuous development. Inspiring and engaging individual capable to influence around different areas. Driven and ambitious. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience using Excel. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, International Finance, Accounting or similar. Strong experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, SAP, BI reporting. Fluent English: written and speaking (Advanced).
