Role Purpose Lead and coordinate Record to Report (RTR) activities for the Americas region, ensuring full compliance with US GAAP, Corning policies, and internal procedures. Key Responsibilities RTR Operations & Financial Close Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles Review and support: Journal entries Account reconciliations General ledger accuracy Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Financial Analysis & Reporting Provide variance analysis and identify key drivers Escalate material variances and risks requiring corrective action Partner with stakeholders to: Analyze expenses Support financial decision‑making Team Leadership & Operations Monitor: Team workload Priorities Service delivery Ensure compliance with: Deadlines SLA commitments Provide: Coaching and guidance Day‑to‑day support to team members Compliance & Controls (SOX) Support SOX compliance activities, including: Contracts Fixed assets Impairment controls Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements Continuous Improvement Identify and implement: Process improvements Standardization opportunities Efficiency initiatives Drive operational excellence across RTR processes Stakeholder Management Collaborate cross‑functionally with: Finance Operations Shared Services Business teams Prepare and present: Performance updates Risks and key metrics Experience / Education Required Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration Experience in Accounting, Finance, or Record to Report (RTR) processes Strong hands‑on experience with month‑end close activities, financial reporting, general ledger management and account analysis Experience / Education Desired Knowledge of PeopleSoft, SAP, BlackLine, Longview / Khalix Experience with Lean, iX Sigma Exposure to process standardization and automation initiatives #J-18808-Ljbffr
