Job Description Process MOP-003 Owner. Manage and coordinate quality management system. Get involved in the launches, production, and events of the plant in order to make sure to comply with customer requirements and IATF 16949. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure the quality Management System is being followed, maintained and always seek to continually improve its effectiveness in accordance to the requirement of IATF16949. Involved in new launches to conduct flawless launch audits; avoid costs of poor quality and increase customer Satisfaction. Raise customer awareness and the voice of quality through QMS Work Shops. Track PPM and IpBs performance with all customers and provide PPM ITD to report on plants Balanced Scorecard on a monthly basis. Upload all customer concerns to Fast Response and ensure that all entries are on time on the PR System. Monitor customer supplier portals (GM Supply Power, Ford Portal, E supplier, VIN, Honda Portal). Implementation of best practices from sister plants (benchmarking) Coordinate internal audit to monitor compliance with IATF 16949. Complies with ISO 14001 according to FSA-346 Matrix of Roles Responsibility and Authority. Attend 3rd Party Audits (QMS, Ford-MSA, GM-BIQS, BOSCH-VDA). Active participation in lean Manufacturing Events (i.e. Kaizen Blitz). Verification of implemented permanent corrective actions, validation of PCAs effectiveness and 8D closures. Promote and monitor proper use systems procedures and practices described in the Quality Management System and ISO 14001 environmental management system. Attend and participate in mandatory workshops. Perform functions within the framework of the rules of procedure of work, code of conduct, rules of safety, hygiene and environment and other policies and procedures. Actively participate in continuous improvement activities according to the established plans. Not limited to other assignments entrusted to you by your immediate supervisor. All the responsibilities and follow the authority assigned according to the FTM-EHS-12 Roles, Responsibility and Authority Matrix from ISO 14001 /45001. Complies with policies and procedures pertaining to facility or divisional adopted standards such as IATF 16949. Required Education, Experience and Knowledge Obtained Bachelor’s degree. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in automotive industry. Desire Mandatory trainings by client (In case of not having them, they will be programmed in the annual training plan). Advanced English Level. Advanced knowledge of IATF 16949 / Quality Management System Calibration / Test Laboratory. Advanced knowledge of PPAP and Core Tools. Advanced SPC knowledge. Advanced GD&T knowledge. Advanced Problem-Solving Methodology knowledge (8Ds). Advanced knowledge of Incoming Inspection and Supplier Quality. Advanced knowledge of Quality Audit and Safe Launch. Knowledge of Customer Systems (FORD, Stellantis, GM, HONDA, Nissan etc.). OMNEX program management. Required Skills and Abilities Pro-active. Ability to work as a team member.
