DI S AM DM‑MC Architecture and Portfolio Sales Specialist – Zone Americas Location: México City, México Key Responsibilities Market/customer engagement, opportunity management, and deal support Represent Siemens Digital Industries Automation (DI AUT) to key regional stakeholders, including trade fairs, conferences, and social media, as a technology and thought‑leader ambassador Drive new technologies and DI AUT offerings into sales organizations, e.g., Sales Acceleration and/or OEM sales channels Support Zone Americas LCB sales organization with discrete OEM industry expertise in bids for major new projects Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify new business opportunities and portfolio growth areas; collaborate closely with Account Managers and Technical Sales Provide top‑ and bottom‑line input for new feature business cases and analyze business performance to derive impactful actions and segment‑specific initiatives Own the business and masterplan for a dedicated industry segment, focusing on discrete OEM business Deliver end‑to‑end solutions ranging from automation and drive technology to digitalization offerings, and actively introduce new DI AUT products and innovations to customers Contribute to the definition and implementation of segment‑specific marketing and use‑case strategies Enable sales through technology insights and sales narratives, providing domain expertise for the discrete machine OEM market Define the business and sales strategy for the specific segment and passionately drive its execution in collaboration with LCB sales organizations Support LCB sales representatives to develop key customers within the discrete automation OEM market Orchestrate activities and strategies for international customers in collaboration with LCB Sales Acceleration & Channels Provide technical expertise on portfolio selection and fit, supporting both internal sales teams and external customers Maintain a strong overview of the international market and competitive landscape, identifying and interpreting trends and business developments in the specific industry Ensure seamless handover to delivery teams, facilitating customer onboarding, adoption, and satisfaction to drive long‑term retention and growth (post‑sales support & customer success) Gather customer and market feedback, translating insights to portfolio and development teams, and advocate for technology and service adoption at executive levels Roll out focus initiatives Basic Qualifications In-depth knowledge of Siemens DI AUT automation and drive products (or equivalent competitors) for discrete OEM industries Strong technical background with hands‑on engineering experience in the DI AUT automation and drive portfolio Bachelor’s degree or higher Advanced English proficiency (interview conducted in English) Preferred Qualifications Minimum 3 years of sales management experience and at least 5 years in industry automation, especially in Automation & Drive Systems Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally Structured & analytical approach to analyze status, propose measures, implement, and follow up Teamwork spirit Commitment to Equity and Inclusion We value your unique identity and perspective.
