ABOUT THE POSITION The NDT FPI Engineer is in charge of executing the inter-operations inspections of non-destructive tests to determine acceptance or rejection of production parts in accordance with written instructions. RESPOSIBILITIES Interpret and evaluate the results of non-destructive tests according to the applicable codes, standards and specifications. Participate in the overall improvement of process layout / facilities, methodologies & techniques of NDT FPI. Generate acceptance or rejection reports. Configure and calibrate equipment to perform non-destructive duties. Develop work instructions according to general procedures, to later be approved by the Level III. Provide advice and/or supervision to assigned NDT Trainees in the technique-method for which they are certified. Participate in internal/external audits. Perform NDT part preparation and inspection according to customer specifications and internal instructions defined by the NDT Level III. Participate in the preparation of his/her physical area for audits. Performance of NDT process during audits. REQUIREMENTS Previous NDT Level II certification and experience University degree Meticulous, motivated, organized, good relationship Confident with Microsoft Office tools. Flexibility regarding the working shifts (early, day and late shift) Advanced English Able to analyze and explain clearly a problem Work with high reactivity and with willing to solve problems (finding solutions)
