Manufacturing Engineer I - SMT Location: Amexhe, Guanajuato Role Objective Plan, define, and improve manufacturing processes and production sequences for electronic manufacturing, ensuring efficiency, robustness, compliance with quality standards, and readiness for serial production. Key Responsibilities Support the development and implementation of manufacturing methods for new and existing production processes. Plan and specify manufacturing sequences, work cycles, capacities, and required production equipment. Define and document process flows, operating instructions, and related production documentation. Support the procurement or internal manufacturing of operating and testing equipment. Participate in risk analysis using Process FMEA and implement improvement actions. Prepare, update, and manage production and quality documentation. Support pre‑series and series audits in manufacturing and quality. Plan and coordinate the preparation and validation of initial samples. Support change management activities (process changes, feasibility analysis, costing, timing). Apply basic Lean Manufacturing / OEE concepts to improve efficiency. Use basic knowledge of SMT processes (Ekra printing, Pick & Place, AOI, ICT, EOL) to support and document production processes. Interpret basic technical drawings. Ensure compliance with industrial safety and environmental regulations. Your Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields. 2–3 years of previous experience in manufacturing or process engineering (electronics / SMT environments). Basic knowledge of SMT processes. Basic understanding of OEE and/or Lean Manufacturing. Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Basic interpretation of technical drawings.
