Responsibilities Provide effective video remote interpreting service for clients Professional and courteous behavior Strong ability and passion for interpretation and customer service Knowledge of the interpreter Code of Ethics Qualifications At least 2 years of medical interpreting experience Spoken Language Qualifications: Fluent with strong verbal communication skills in English and Mixteco Must have at least 2-5 years of interpreting experience Credentialed in medical interpreting preferred Respect for and understanding of our Limited English Proficient (LEP) clients, culture, dialect and beliefs and preferences as it relates to legal/medical care Technology & Language requirements VRI Technology Requirements: Windows 10 or 11 updated to the latest version and updates enabled for OS and Microsoft products A good quality USB headset with noise-canceling microphone A stable Ethernet connection directly to the modem Spoken Language Qualifications: English and Mixteco Job Type: Contract Department: Interpretation Application Information Attachment and information requests: Attach your Resume; Attach a Cover Letter; Attach Degree or Certification as applicable; Attach any attachments required.
