The role includes 4+ years of overall DevOps experience, of which 2+ years are with cloud technologies, and spans both on‑prem and cloud infrastructure within cross‑functional teams. Responsibilities Provide infrastructure expertise and support for feature teams. Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools. Effectively use version control (Git/GitHub) and work‑management tools (Jira, Confluence). Write and maintain Bash shell scripts, Maven/Gradle scripts, and other automation tools. Administer Linux servers and AIX/Linux environments. Configure and maintain application servers, banking systems, and their integrations. Design, deploy, and troubleshoot microservices using SpringBoot and Java 11. Implement network and security best practices: TCP/IP, VPC, subnetting, VPNs, and security tools. Set up logging and monitoring on cloud native and third‑party tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace. Apply database skills with SQL and NoSQL systems. Use software security tools like BlackDuck, Fortify, AquaSec, and SonarQube. Document processes and maintain clear, reusable documentation. Qualifications 4+ years of DevOps experience, 2+ years in cloud environments. Preferred exposure to the banking industry or financial services. Strong development background and competency with CI/CD, version control, and automation tools. Proficiency in Linux administration and Bash scripting. Advanced knowledge of network architecture, security, and optimization. Experience with cloud infrastructure logging and monitoring solutions. Familiarity with traditional on‑prem infrastructure technologies (virtualization, storage, networking). Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
