A Day in Your Life at MKS As a Co‑op Intern in Global Supply Chain, you will partner with Procurement Sustaining teams to support daily procurement activities, supplier follow‑up, reporting, and operational execution to ensure continuity of supply and support business ramp requirements. You will report to the Procurement Manager. You Will Make an Impact By: Support daily procurement operational activities and report generation Assist buyers and procurement supervisors with supplier follow‑up and confirmations Support shortage mitigation and open order tracking activities Help maintain and update procurement dashboards, reports, and metrics Support purchase order and supplier communication processes Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Operations Gain understanding of global supply chain and procurement processes Support continuous improvement and process standardization initiatives within Procurement Assist with data analysis and reporting related to supplier performance and operational metrics Skills You Bring At least 6 semesters of undergraduate experience Years of job‑related work experience Excel, Word, and Microsoft Suite proficiency Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and suppliers Proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Basic understanding of supply chain or procurement concepts (preferred) English proficiency (preferred) Preferred Skills Power BI, Oracle or ERP systems knowledge Data analysis and reporting skills Lean / Continuous Improvement mindset Strong communication and teamwork skills Physical Demands and Working Conditions Office environment facing the screen and speaking with team players and over the phone Hybrid interaction with internal teams and suppliers through email, calls, and meetings Prolonged periods working on a computer and reviewing data/reports Fast‑paced operational environment with multiple priorities and deadlines EEO Statement MKS Inc. and its affiliates and subsidiaries (“MKS”) is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer: diverse candidates are encouraged to apply.
