Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Banking Analyst. What you’ll do This role is in the Payroll Banking area in a shared services environment that generates payment proposals for different entities and payroll payments, tax, according to the calendar from Eaton, and ensures that all payroll payments with due dates are included in the payment run and follows up according to Eaton’s established policies. Perform bank disbursements to payroll payments in a timely manner according to schedule. Reconcile payments against bank statements on a daily basis to ensure they were successful. Provide evidence of bank disbursements to the local teams. Attend column cases ensuring to solve all the cases within the next 24 hours. Review and analyze payments that are rejected or returned. Analyze errors in payments, payments on hold, unreconciled items. Analyze payroll payment problems, determine root cause and recommend solutions. Coordinate problem resolution between the banks and operations. Prepare metric analysis and reporting. Address escalated payment issues and lead activities to resolve payment concerns. Participate in continuous improvements and project work to drive functional excellence. Complete payment process special handling requests. Develop and document new processes and improvements. Function well in a team environment. Maintain positive relationships with customers, both internal and external, and ensure professional and appropriate communications. Know and comply with Eaton policies: General Ethics, Values and Philosophy, Management Environmental Safety and Security and Health (MESH). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance related. 1–2 years of experience with payroll payments, payroll taxes, etc. Skills Technical knowledge: accounts payable, data processing in financial systems, bilingual (English–Spanish) a plus, accounting and banking portals. Strong PC skills (Excel). Shared services experience a plus. Soft skills: communication, ability to operate and deliver independently without day‑to‑day supervision, flexibility to work outside standard hours to accommodate teams working around the globe.
