Retail Service Agent (LM051) – A full‑time role located at Av. Tulum Manzana 56, Lt 18, Super Manzana 5, 77500 Cancun, ROO Mexico. The position involves completing administrative tasks and coordinating front‑line operations such as data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, dispatch activities, and providing local customer service. Majority of the time is spent on office‑based activities. Responsibilities Perform various customer service, administrative, and office tasks requiring direct or indirect interaction with customers. Assist customers with package tracking, answer product and sales questions on the counter or over the phone. Verify packages ensuring proper labeling, legality of content, weight and size, appropriate packaging, declared value, hazardous material handling requirements, and required customs documentation. Collaborate with budget execution, income/expenditure, and support branch profitability optimization by resource optimization. Open and close the branch, keep work area clean, review furniture and work materials; respect customer service time limits. Identify new customers or additional business opportunities, offer suitable services and solutions, open new accounts, obtain additional shipments, and present sales opportunities. Ensure excellent customer experience by developing and providing suitable solutions to various customer problems. Follow up on commercial and administrative processes, communicating with involved areas. Protect company values and prevent deviations, shortfalls, and mishandling in the WSC. Request necessary supplies for daily shipment documentation and packaging. Other tasks of importance or frequency as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Proficient in English. At least two (2) years of experience in sales and/or face‑to‑face customer service. Solid knowledge of handling cash and other currencies. Previous experience at FedEx SCS Warehouse with good knowledge of operations. Minimum Skills Ability to lift 34 kg and move packages up to 68 kg using appropriate equipment. Attention to detail and precision. Planning and organizational skills. Interpersonal skills. Problem‑solving ability. Ability to determine and coordinate tasks for oneself and others. Interpretation skills for translating specific customer instructions into feasible requirements. Proficiency with technological tools such as scanner, printer, intranet, etc., and basic maintenance tasks. General office skills, including typing, filing, and computer knowledge.
