Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Sourcing Lead to drive strategic sourcing initiatives that deliver long-term value, cost optimization, and supply assurance across assigned categories. This role plays a critical part in shaping sourcing strategies, strengthening supplier partnerships, and mitigating risk in a complex, general environment. The Senior Sourcing Lead will lead high-impact sourcing engagements, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and support business objectives at both regional and global levels while contributing thought leadership and capability development within the sourcing organization. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field Experience within the automotive, powersports, or assembly manufacturing industries Strong understanding of Polaris products, business model, and sourcing needs Demonstrated passion for Polaris products and a continuous improvement mindset Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 15 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement Proven experience leading complex negotiations and managing high-value contracts Proficiency in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication skills Position Overview The Senior Sourcing Lead is responsible for leading end-to-end strategic sourcing activities, including opportunity assessment, RFX development, negotiations, contracting, and implementation. The role develops and executes multi-year category strategies aligned with business, financial, and risk objectives while identifying cost-saving, value engineering, and supply assurance opportunities. Key responsibilities include: Managing the complete sourcing lifecycle from opportunity assessment to post-award execution and value realization Leading complex negotiations and managing high-value supplier contracts Monitoring supplier performance as well as supply, geopolitical, financial, and capacity risks Ensuring contracts meet compliance requirements and protect company interests in collaboration with Legal Supporting ESG, sustainability, and supplier diversity initiatives Mentoring junior sourcing professionals and driving process improvements Additional responsibilities involve asset management system oversight, developing supplier identification matrices, establishing relationships with public and private sourcing channels, conducting rapid plant assessments during supplier visits, and supporting supplier localization efforts. The role reports regular stakeholder updates and drives year-over-year cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and risk reduction. The position operates in a fast-paced, hybrid office environment and requires frequent global travel, approximately 50–60% of the time.
