Market Access Manager As a Market Access Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s products are effectively incorporated into the Mexican healthcare system by securing their inclusion in public formularies, institutional catalogs, and government purchasing frameworks. This role focuses on facilitating access to the public market by driving health policy engagement, supporting product evaluation processes with key institutions (e.g., IMSS, ISSSTE), and building strong relationships with decision‑makers. The position also involves generating clear clinical and economic value propositions to support inclusion, adoption, and sustainable demand within public and private healthcare systems. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement market access strategies to secure product inclusion in public formularies and institutional catalogs. Drive efforts to obtain and maintain product codes (compendio keys) and facilitate inclusion in government purchasing systems. Build and maintain strategic relationships with key external stakeholders, including government authorities, policymakers, KOLs, medical societies, and industry associations (e.g., AMID). Monitor and actively engage in public health policy discussions, contributing insights and supporting policy development when applicable. Generate health economics and outcomes research analyses, including cost‑benefit and value assessments. Support public procurement processes and tenders, ensuring alignment with access and pricing strategies. Manage evaluation and access processes with key public institutions such as IMSS, ISSSTE, SEDENA, and PEMEX. Requirements Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Health Sciences, Public Health, Economics, or related fields. MBA or postgraduate studies in Health Policy or Health Economics are a strong plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Market Access, Public Affairs, or similar roles within the healthcare or medical devices industry. Strong knowledge of Mexican healthcare system, public policies, regulations, and procurement processes. Proven experience in dossier development, health economics, and stakeholder management. Advanced English proficiency. Strong communication and influencing skills, with executive presence and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
