Join us and make a significant impact on our global trade activities. Responsibilities Ensure that all customs operations comply with local and international customs laws and regulations. Supervise the correct preparation and submission of all documents required for the import and export of goods, such as commercial invoices, customs declarations, permits, and certificates. Provide advice on customs procedures and resolve issues that may arise during the process. Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of customs operations, reduce costs, and minimize errors. This may involve the implementation of more advanced computer and technological systems. Assess and manage risks associated with customs operations, such as potential compliance issues, customs delays, or loss of goods. Manage customs agency operations, traffic, services, to control operating costs and ensure operations remain within budget. Prepare periodic reports showing the performance of customs operations, including key metrics such as clearance times, costs, and customer service levels. Identify and address operational issues efficiently and effectively, seeking solutions that minimize the impact on operations. Carry out the control of SAP Inventories - Annex 24, performs the comparisons, analyses and adjustments, and regularizations necessary to comply with Annex 24. Verify that imports of MRO consumables through A1 Definitive Import Declarations comply with all the requirements and regulations set forth in the Law. Coordinate activities of the different external areas involved such as the warehouse or 3pl, customs agency, distribution centers, transportation or traffic. Work closely on projects with Headquarters in the United States. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in foreign Trade, Customs Administration, Logistics, or a related field. English proficiency at a minimum of 80%. At least 4 years of experience in a similar position, with direct experience using IMMEX software. Knowledge of the maquiladora industry and comprehensive understanding of Annexes 22, 24, and 30 within IMMEX software. Proficiency in logistics and traffic management software solutions. Familiarity with border crossing procedures and formalities, managed through advanced software tools. Extensive knowledge of IMMEX, PROSEC, VAT, FTAs, AEO, and CTPAT, with software implementation experience. Familiar with SAP modules or other relevant ERP systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
