Assist the Supervisor in conducting internal Trade Compliance audits and assessments. Prepare audit reports and summaries, and respond to requests from local authorities when required. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Tag fixed assets in accordance with company and customs requirements. Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in Annex 24. Conduct periodic physical inventories of fixed assets. Recommend appropriate disposal methods for fixed assets (e.g., scrap, sale, donation) in compliance with Trade Compliance regulations. Perform analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management. Participate in and support internal, external, and government audits related to fixed assets. Review fixed assets and related information (brand, model, serial number, location). Prepare reports and perform data analysis to reconcile and close monthly pedimentos. Support the control and administration of fixed assets from a foreign trade and customs compliance perspective. Job Qualifications Knowledge Requirements Knowledge of Trade Compliance and Mexican Customs legislation. Knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, as well as global customs regimes. Experience or exposure to fixed asset control, Annex 24, and customs inventory management. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email. Ability to analyze data and generate compliance reports. Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, or a related field. 1–2 years of experience in Trade Compliance, Customs, or related areas. Ability to consistently work in a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of current trade and customs regulations.
