Responsibilities Realizes overview diagram and time cycle of an automatized process. Performs conceptual and detailed design of new equipment or modifications to existing engineering. Selects raw materials based in their characteristics and application needs. Writes mechanical functional analysis and design calculation notes. Applies safety, ergonomics and environmental principles during design development. Selects the different parts such as actuators, sensors, and others commercial parts. Design metallic and plastics materials machined parts optimized for feasibility and price. Develop mechanical 3D assembly design and drawings. Provides support during assembly, debugging, calibration, qualification, and production run‑up with electrical and automation engineer. Develop documentation package for project. Helps establish technical strategies, internal procedures and best practices. Communicates results, issues and solutions internally and to customers. Troubleshoots product and system issues related to equipment solutions. May provide mentoring, instructions/assistance to lower levels. Selects and proposes the most appropriate product or product combinations to meet customer needs. Understands applications, features and benefits of Schneider Electric and complementary products. Applies local codes and standards. Collaborate during commissioning and Site Acceptance Test, to fulfill End User requirements. Technical support and Customer service. (Willing to travel up to 30%).
