YOUR TASKS Job Objective Supervise and optimize sales and demand planning execution in a high‑complexity plant operation, focusing on attaining required internal and external customer service within specified resource constraints. Provide cooperation and project management within regional and global logistics projects and implement new standards, methods, or processes in collaboration with global or regional management. Duties and Responsibilities – Sales Scheduling / Demand Planning Supervise and optimize sales and demand planning execution in a high‑complexity plant operation, focusing on attaining required internal and external customer service within specified resource constraints. Continuously improve the sales and demand planning process in a high‑complexity plant operation. Direct and manage the maintenance of master data. Supervise first‑level support for sales and demand planning in a high‑complexity plant operation. Supervise knowledge transfer related to the sales and demand planning process. Track the achievement of sales and demand planning target KPIs and trigger countermeasures in case of deviations. Supervise all sales and demand planning activities and continuously track and manage occurring changes. Ensure sales and demand planners fulfill required tasks according to corporate standards and trigger trainings to close competence gaps. Build and maintain capabilities and competences to provide first‑level support for all sales and demand planning related issues. Direct sales and demand planners to attain required master data quality for standard production planning use cases. Ensure and trigger continuous improvement within the sales and demand planning process and supervise implementation of improvements according to corporate standards, including documentation of changes. Align all sales and demand planning activities within plant logistics and across related functions, including material management and production planning. Manage sales and demand planning exceptions, facilitate viable solutions and initiate logistic escalation when necessary. Assume KPI responsibility. Provide cooperation and project management in regional and global logistics projects. Ensure global standards are upheld. Project Management Manage and lead high‑complexity logistics projects from a technical and organizational perspective, including rollout and sustainable implementation of corporate standard processes. Define, plan, coordinate, and monitor tasks within project teams using defined methods and systems. Prepare and develop concepts for improving recording, analysis, modelling, presentation, and management of process‑related data. Continuously monitor project success regarding time, budget, and output quality, and drive execution of defined actions. Coach and train the project team and/or trigger additional training. Negotiate general logistics conditions with suppliers, service providers, and customers, including JIT/JIS processes, turnaround periods, and packaging. Leadership Deploy employees according to their qualifications within the relevant structure, instructing and supporting them in a target‑oriented, motivating manner to fulfill tasks. Guide, instruct, and support employees in function‑related tasks. Maintain team performance, conduct evaluations, and address qualification demands.
