The Markets Securities Services Data Ops Instrument is a shared service organization located in Bangalore and Colombo that provides enterprise reference data information across the HSBC Group. The role supports marketing, securities services, and private bank entities across Asia‑Pacific, Europe‑Middle East, Middle East‑North Africa, and the Americas. Responsibilities Own and manage enterprise reference data maintenance and pricing for asset classes such as Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, and FX. Manage market data feeds, both end‑of‑day and real‑time, sourced from third‑party vendors and HSBC internal systems. Process customer instructions accurately to meet agreed quality standards and targets. Proactively suggest and design improvements to process workflows. Identify and escalate common errors or irregular transactions in accordance with procedures. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, risk scenarios, and HSBC internal control standards. Tie internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by regulators. Investigate and resolve issues or refer them appropriately with recommendations. Respond quickly to urgent work demands and maintain flexibility with work timings, including night shift/rotation shift. Qualifications Fluent in spoken and written English. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, FX, and Money Market products. Experience with vendor systems such as Refinitiv and Bloomberg data feeds. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative. Strong understanding of Derivatives/Fixed Income/Equities/FX rates. Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or Equivalent. Willingness to work flexible hours, including night and rotation shifts.
