Case Management Clinical Educator Shift: Full Time, Days (May work weekends and holidays) Pay Range: $59.77 - $80.39 / hourly Location: Loma Linda, 92354 Job Description The Educator-Clinical conveys basic through advanced knowledge in field of expertise and conducts well planned, organized and relevant competency-based unit/department orientation and education programs for new and existing staff based on individualized learning needs and unit/department-specific functions and patient population served. Applies principles of adult learning to education processes and modifies as needed to accommodate for generational differences. Works side-by-side with staff to effectively train and assess staff's progress towards established learning outcomes and level of performance. Provides real-time feedback to staff and demonstrates the ability to turn successes and failures into meaningful \"training moments.\" Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required. Master of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. Three years clinical nursing experience in primary area of specialty required. Knowledge And Skills: Substantial knowledge of clinical practice specialty, nursing scope of practice, adult learning principles, medical staff structure, legal aspects of care and evidenced-based clinical practice standards required. Understands state and federal healthcare regulations and accreditation, quality, patient safety, performance improvement methodologies, data management and statistical analysis required. Licensures And Certifications: Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association required.
