Our client is seeking a hands‑on Operational Support Specialist to provide on‑site production and supply chain support at a key EMS supplier facility in Guadalajara, Mexico. This individual will serve as the operational liaison between the supplier’s manufacturing team and the client’s U.S.-based operations organization to help secure production continuity, improve visibility, and ensure timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience within PCBA manufacturing environments, including production planning, material tracking, manufacturing operations, and expediting. This role requires a highly proactive individual capable of working independently within a fast‑paced manufacturing setting while effectively communicating issues, risks, and recovery actions to cross‑functional stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Provide daily on‑site operational support at the EMS supplier facility in Guadalajara. Track production schedules, work orders, material availability, and shipment readiness to ensure fulfillment commitments are achieved. Monitor PCBA manufacturing progress and identify potential risks impacting delivery, capacity, quality, or material flow. Expedite critical orders and collaborate with supplier planning, production, procurement, and logistics teams to drive recovery actions. Coordinate closely with the client’s U.S‑based operations, supply chain, and program management teams. Lead regular status updates and provide clear reporting on production performance, shortages, constraints, and mitigation plans. Support root cause identification and escalation management related to production delays or supply chain disruptions. Ensure alignment between supplier execution and customer demand requirements. Maintain strong working relationships with supplier leadership and operational personnel. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in EMS, electronics manufacturing, or PCBA manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of PCB assembly production processes, manufacturing planning, material flow, and order fulfillment. Experience working directly with contract manufacturers or EMS suppliers. Proven experience in production expediting, operational coordination, or supply chain execution roles. Ability to analyze production schedules, shortages, and manufacturing constraints. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in English and Spanish. Ability to work independently on‑site at a manufacturing facility. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting U.S‑based OEMs or global manufacturing operations. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production reporting tools. Background in supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, operations, or program management. Experience managing escalations within high‑volume electronics manufacturing environments.
