Overview Account Manager – Nuevo Vallarta (Travel Partnerships and Advertising) works closely with lodging partners to develop and maintain a high‑quality portfolio of hotel and property products for Expedia Group’s global traveler base. The role leverages Expedia Group’s data insights, marketing, distribution capabilities, and revenue‑management tools to maximize production potential and provide a superior experience for travelers and partners alike. Responsibilities Build and strengthen relationships with customer account teams, key decision‑makers, and stakeholders. Identify opportunities to grow accounts through meetings, insights, and proactive engagement. Understand customer needs, business challenges, and industries; recommend solutions that deliver value. Maintain solid knowledge of company products, services, and competitors to effectively position offerings. Develop and deliver value propositions, case studies, and metrics to demonstrate solution impact. Manage the sales process, handle objections, and close deals that benefit both customer and organization. Support contract reviews and negotiations, collaborating with legal and senior colleagues when needed. Apply financial and risk analysis to evaluate solutions and understand their impact on the customer and the company. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor practices, and organizational objectives to guide strategy. Foster cross‑functional collaboration to ensure strong customer experiences and long‑term relationships. Act as a market ambassador, sharing trends, insights, and strategic recommendations with cross‑functional teams and leadership. Build and strengthen strategic alliances with industry associations, tourism boards, and institutional partners to drive joint initiatives and expand Expedia’s market influence. Identify and lead collaborative opportunities with associates—such as training, campaigns, research projects, and working groups—to position Expedia as a thought leader. Travel 10‑20% for internal meetings and tourism events. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience for Bachelor’s; 0‑2+ years for Master’s. Proficiency in English and the local market language(s) where applicable. Effective communicator with strong sales techniques.
