We are active in our communities, driving and supporting social initiatives that benefit children, women and the environment.Job DescriptionThe Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing and managing all aspects of accounts payable transactions, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors while maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting the organization’s financial operations.ResponsibilitiesProcess vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper approvals and codingMatch invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents (three-way matching)Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerMaintain accurate accounts payable records and filing systemsAssist with month-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliationsEnsure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulationsSupport audits by providing requested documentation and reportsCollaborate with purchasing, receiving, and finance teams to resolve invoice issuesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accountingStrong understanding of accounting principles and AP processesDemonstrated IKEA value and cultureProficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Dynamics)Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft ExcelHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time-management skillsAdditional Informationplease submit your application by 15th January 2026
