About This Role We're seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our IT department at our corporate office in Santiago, Chile. In this role, you'll be an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of software quality. This is a hybrid position based at our office in Santiago de Querétaro, Qro., Mexico. Collaborates in software design discussions, reviews, and test strategy sessions Responsible for performing risk and impact analysis and making recommendations for associated solutions Provides quality assurance estimates for resource and project planning purposes Executes system and regression tests Creates test data and maintains regression test suites. Apply solid knowledge of SQL and test management/version control tools like Azure DevOps Identifies potential process improvement areas, suggests options and recommends approaches Develop strategies to streamline and automate testing procedures during implementation phases Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content Mentor junior team members on applications and job functions Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience Minimum 5+ years of professional experience, with demonstrated success in web testing and automation Good knowledge of relevant computing platforms and automated test tools Good knowledge of multiple department applications, subsystems, and functions Strong understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies, test design, and defect tracking processes Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and debugging skills Strong project and time management skills Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
