Role Summary Ventomatic® Field Service Engineer: Support and stabilize the Ventomatic® installed base, reducing downtime and improving safety and repeatability across GIROMAT®, INFILROT®, POLIMAT®, and VENTOSORT®/VENTOCHECK® systems. Deliver clear technical findings and translate them into actionable next steps (repairs, upgrades, spare parts, training). Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot equipment across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic/electropneumatic, and PLC/HMI domains. Perform alignments/synchronization, functional testing (vacuum, weighing repeatability, recipes/setpoints, networks), and support commissioning when required. Produce a structured post‑visit report within 48 hours, including findings, tagged photos/versions/serials, quick wins, and a prioritized spare parts list. Lead with safety: apply LOTO, verify guarding/interlocks, stop work if unsafe, and coach operators/maintenance on safe adjustments. Required Qualifications 3–5+ years of experience supporting packaging/palletizing lines or industrial automation (cement/bulk handling preferred). PLC/HMI exposure with Siemens TIA Portal plus one of the following: Beckhoff TwinCAT or Allen‑Bradley Studio 5000. Experience with at least two VFD families (ABB, Siemens, Nidec/Control Techniques, PowerFlex, etc.). Ability to read electrical and pneumatic drawings and troubleshoot from field signals to program logic. Strong English language skills and professional customer communication. 70–80% travel within the U.S. (occasional LATAM). Nice to Have Direct Ventomatic® equipment experience. Network diagnostics (Profinet/EtherCAT/EtherNet/IP, CANbus/Optical Bridge). Safety Credentials OSHA/MSHA/NFPA‑70E, fall protection.
