Application Development What We’ll Do Partner closely with product managers to review user stories and acceptance criteria before development begins, identifying gaps, ambiguities, and testing risks early Build a strong culture of quality by collaborating with developers throughout the development lifecycle Design and execute thoughtful testing strategies that go beyond happy paths and cover real-world user behavior and edge cases Improve and expand mobile test automation across Android and iOS applications Reduce regression risk and increase release confidence through reliable, scalable automated testing Monitor and analyze quality trends, defect patterns, and test coverage to drive continuous improvement Strengthen CI/CD quality practices and improve the stability and reliability of automated test suites Encourage shared ownership of quality across engineering, product, and leadership teams What You’ll Bring Strong QA experience across the full product lifecycle, from requirements review through release Deep understanding of test case design, exploratory testing, and risk-based testing methodologies Proven experience building and maintaining mobile automation for both Android and iOS platforms Hands- on experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or similar tools Ability to identify unclear, incomplete, or high-risk requirements before development begins Experience collaborating closely with developers, including pull request reviews and validating test coverage Understanding of how automation fits into a broader quality and testing strategy Ability to interpret and communicate quality metrics, defect trends, and coverage gaps effectively Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Familiarity with agile project management and tracking tools such as Azure DevOps Experience improving automation reliability, reducing flaky tests, and supporting CI/CD workflows Improving welcomes people from all backgrounds and walks of life, and this is reflected in our largely diverse community of Improvers.
