We are looking for a highly motivated and creative Digital PR Specialist to help us amplify our brand presence, build high-quality backlinks, and secure media coverage in the fashion, jewelry, and lifestyle spaces. The Role In this role, you will be the digital voice of our brand to the media. You will blend traditional public relations with modern SEO strategy to get journalists to write about Calavera New York, while strategically identifying and securing placements on high Domain Authority websites to boost our search rankings. Core Responsibilities Media Outreach & Pitching: Act as our digital PR representative. Craft compelling pitches and build relationships with journalists, editors, and bloggers in the fashion, jewelry, and e-commerce spaces to secure organic press coverage. SEO Prospecting: Utilize SEO tools (such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or Moz) to identify relevant, high-DA websites, blogs, and digital publications for potential partnerships. Link Building & Placements: Negotiate and secure brand presence on targeted websites via sponsored posts, guest articles, product seeding/gifting, and editorial features. Campaign Management: Manage the end-to-end outreach process, from building targeted media lists to sending personalized emails, following up, and securing the final publication. Brand Monitoring: Track digital brand mentions and unlinked brand mentions, reaching out to webmasters to convert them into active backlinks. Reporting & Analytics: Monitor and report on the success of PR outreach campaigns, tracking metrics like backlinks acquired, Domain Authority improvements, and referral traffic. Media Kit Maintenance: Help keep our digital press room and media kits up to date with our latest collections and brand assets. Requirements Language: Native or near-native English fluency (C1/C2 level) is strictly required. Your written English must be impeccable, as you will be pitching US-based journalists and editors. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree required. 2+ years of experience in a Digital PR or SEO role (Outreach, Link Building, or Communications). SEO Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with industry-standard SEO and backlink analysis tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz). Outreach Tool Proficiency: Experience with email outreach and PR tools (e.g., Pitchbox, Hunter.io, Muck Rack, or BuzzStream). Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of white-hat link-building strategies and Google’s SEO guidelines. Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate sponsored post rates and manage a monthly outreach budget effectively. Self-Starter: Highly organized, independent, and capable of managing your own pipeline of outreach targets with minimum oversight.
