Assembly Manufacturing Engineer A focused and self‑motivated engineer will design, develop and validate manufacturing processes, contribute to new production cells and improve existing methods to support capacity expansion. Responsibilities Implement and maintain a safe work environment, promoting accident prevention and investigation. Design manufacturing cells and calculate optimal capacities of production lines and fabrication processes. Verify time standards and calculate earned hours per product family. Facilitate A3 problem solving and design future state value streams. Create technical documentation (standard work sheets, OMS, ODS, FMEA, DFAM etc.). Evaluate and modify layouts of production lines and cells, updating databases that reflect optimal routes, production times, machine assignments and operator headcount. Work with multidisciplinary groups to implement Lean Manufacturing and reduce high‑risk priority numbers in manufacturing PFMEA's. Drive process‑related activities for new product introduction from early planning through full production. Coach, mentor, and train manufacturing technicians. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Industrial, Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering degree. Minimum 3 years of experience in assembly or paint processes. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Strong knowledge of continuous improvement, line balancing, capacity calculations, planning and layout. Project management experience and proven record of successful change‑management and cost‑reduction programs. Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing conditions. Original thinking and creative problem‑solving skills. Preferred: HVAC industry experience. Preferred: Project Management certification. Preferred: Six Sigma Greenbelt. Preferred: Lean Manufacturing experience.
