Job Title: Senior Accountant Responsibilities Lead the month-end AP accrual process by analyzing open purchase orders and unbilled liabilities to ensure expenses are recognized in the correct accounting period. Maintain strong partnerships with key vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve complex billing discrepancies and ensure adherence to internal payment policies. Collaborate with the Treasury team to provide accurate aging reports. Oversee the integrity of vendor data for regulatory compliance, including the management of W-9 collection and the accurate filing of annual 1099 reporting. Maintain and audit the segregation of duties within the payment workflow to safeguard company assets and prevent unauthorized disbursements. Manage both routine and complex month‑end close activities, including preparing balance sheet reconciliations and performing detailed variance analysis. Act as a cross‑functional liaison, partnering with departments such as Strategic Finance, Treasury, and Operations to provide financial clarity and support broader company objectives. Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and be involved in the development and maintenance of internal controls and company accounting policies. Design and implement scalable processes, driving continuous improvement to support expansion and operational efficiency. Handle financial research and analyse complex internal or external accounting issues to ensure compliance and technical soundness in reporting.
