We operate in a fast-paced, multi-client B2B technology services environment. We are seeking a Sales Engineer (SE) to serve as the key technical and consultative partner for our Revenue team. In this role, you will be the fundamental bridge between commercial vision and technical execution viability. Far from being a traditional pre‑sales representative, you will autonomously lead opportunity structuring, deep scope analysis, and critical assumption mapping before a deal converts into a formal proposal. Key Responsibilities Consultative Discovery & Diagnosis: Technical Discovery Leadership: Partner with Client Partners to lead technical conversations with prospects, asking sharp and precise questions to ground abstract business ideas into realistic solutions. Requirements & Assumption Engineering: Clearly define project scope (In‑Scope), key deliverables, and critically, the boundaries (Out‑of‑Scope) and core assumptions of the project. Deep Architecture Audits: Evaluate clients' current technical landscapes, map out technical debt, examine DevOps processes, and determine team maturity levels. Risk Identification & Mitigation: Proactively detect hidden technical risks or critical dependencies prior to signing contracts or Statements of Work (SOW). Service Model Qualification: Strategic diagnosis to prescribe the optimal delivery model for the client's needs, balancing Agile Solution Delivery (ASD), Staff Augmentation (TaaS), and Managed Services (MITS). Solution Architecture Design: Structure high‑level architectures and ideal team compositions (agile squads) for Agile Solution Delivery proposals. Estimation Governance: Coordinate with Delivery leaders to secure precise calculations of effort (Man‑Hours), roadmaps, and costs, protecting business profitability margins. Profile Validation (TaaS): Validate that the stacks and profiles requested in Staff Augmentation opportunities perfectly match the client's real infrastructure. Infrastructure Support (MITS): Evaluate Cloud and cybersecurity environments to accurately size managed IT support services. Proposal Crafting & Flawless Handoff: Technical Proposals & RFPs: Author technical annexes, respond to complex competitive bidding documents (RFPs/RFIs), and design architecture diagrams or supporting visual materials. Optimization & Automation: Build and maintain a centralized library of reusable solution assets (diagrams, templates, estimators) to accelerate the overall sales cycle. Frictionless Technical Handoff: Lead the structured transfer of technical knowledge and commercial context to Delivery Managers and Customer Success Managers once an opportunity is closed. Account Expansion: Support the identification of Cross‑sell and Upsell opportunities by designing technical modernization proposals for current clients. Must‑Have (Essential): Experience: +4 years of client‑facing experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Pre‑Sales Lead, or Technology Consultant in B2B service companies, focusing on Software Factories or Staff Augmentation. Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technology field. Technical Mastery: Strong practical understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) under Agile/Scrum methodologies, API design, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Documentation Skills: Advanced ability to create technical documentation, visual artifacts, wireframes, and reference architecture models. Languages: Full bilingual fluency (both written and spoken) in English and Spanish is strictly mandatory. Nice‑to‑Have (Plus): AI‑Driven Estimation: Familiarity or practical experience using Artificial Intelligence tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, automation frameworks) applied to accelerating software project estimations.
