Atmosera, an Azure and Microsoft AI partner, is hiring a Senior Consultant to deliver end‑to‑end data and AI solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, with a primary focus on Microsoft Fabric. This is a senior individual contributor operating at an architect‑adjacent level, responsible for independently leading client engagements from discovery through production deployment and delivering high‑quality outcomes across workshops, assessments, platform implementations, and migrations. Key Responsibilities Client Delivery (Primary)Independently lead and deliver billable client engagements (target: ~40 hrs/week) Execute Atmosera delivery frameworks, including:Data Workshops (visioning, requirements, stakeholder alignment) Assessments & Blueprinting (current state analysis, target architecture, roadmap) Fabric Foundations (platform setup, governance, baseline architecture) Proof of Value (PoV) engagementsProduction deployments and migrations Design and implement scalable, secure, and performant data solutions in Microsoft Fabric Own technical architecture decisions Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders Identify risks, tradeoffs, and optimization opportunities during delivery Solution Architecture & EngineeringBuild and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Fabric‑native tooling Develop and tune Spark‑based workloads (batch and/or streaming) Architect medallion/lakehouse patterns within Fabric Implement data modeling, transformation, and orchestration strategies Ensure alignment with Azure Well‑Architected and data platform best practices Consulting & Client EngagementFacilitate workshops and guide clients through ambiguous problem spaces Translate business requirements into technical solutions Influence client decisions through structured recommendations Maintain a high standard of professionalism and delivery quality Required Skills & Experience Core Technical ExpertiseDeep expertise in Microsoft Fabric (end‑to‑end platform capabilities) Strong experience with Azure Data Factory Advanced proficiency in Apache Spark (PySpark/Scala preferred) Experience designing modern data architectures (lakehouse, medallion, ELT/ETL patterns) Strong understanding of Azure data services and ecosystem integration Consulting & DeliveryProven ability to independently deliver consulting engagements Strong client‑facing communication and facilitation skills Experience leading workshops, assessments, and architecture design sessions Ability to operate with minimal oversight after onboarding Professional AttributesEmbodies Atmosera values:Hungry – proactive, driven, continuously improving Humble – collaborative, open to feedback, low ego Mindful – thoughtful, intentional, and client‑aware High ownership mentality and accountability Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capability Preferred Qualifications Databricks (engineering and/or architecture experience) Power BI (modeling, semantic layer design, reporting integration) Azure Synapse Analytics (legacy or hybrid environments) Certifications Strongly Preferred DP-203: Azure Data Engineer Associate (or Fabric equivalent evolution) Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer certification Azure Solutions Architect Expert Leveling Context Internal Title: Senior Consultant Operates just below Principal Consultant Expected to function with architect‑level autonomy in delivery, but without formal practice leadership responsibilities Success Profile (What “Great” Looks Like)Can take a client from ambiguous problem → structured approach → delivered solution without escalation Delivers engagements that are reusable, referenceable, and high quality Builds client trust quickly and sustains it through execution Requires minimal intervention once aligned on scope and methodology Elevates delivery standards through example This is a contractor position in the United States with the ability to work from home but may require travel to a client site.
