Role Description MES Techno- Functional Consultant (Lead II - Enterprise Solutions ) based in Guadalajara. Responsibilities Analyze and understand business processes in discrete manufacturing. Gather and document requirements for MES solutions by working with cross‑functional teams including operations, IT, and engineering. Integrate MES with SAP for part master, engineering change note, and inventory. Integrate MES with inventory management systems. Customize MES workflows and screens as per plant operations using scripting or configuration tools. Ensure data accuracy, traceability, and compliance with industry standards. Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support and maintenance post‑deployment. Document solution designs, configurations, and user manuals. Other relevant essential functions may be required. Qualifications More than 5 years of MES solutioning expertise (configuring machines, shopfloor assets, in‑process parameters). Experience handling analytics and reporting requirements. Understanding of MTR, OEE, and other plant performance metrics. Knowledge of how AI works on the shopfloor (e.g., predictive quality). Knowledge of UI and analytics tools. Knowledge of big data technologies. Understanding of parts and inventory movement from supplier to warehouse to point of consumption (various material flows, DOL, NDOL, kitting, 2‑Bin). Process understanding from ordering to planning to shopfloor scheduling and capturing traceability at line. Knowledge of quality checklist handling and warranty feedbacks handling in MES.
