Overview As an Advanced Test Engineering Support Specialist at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in providing advanced technical support for testing activities. Your expertise in test engineering and strong problem‑solving skills will enable you to provide technical guidance and support to the test engineering team. Key Responsibilities Provide advanced technical support for testing activities Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and execute test plans Ensure accurate and efficient conduct of testing activities Provide technical expertise and guidance to the test engineering team Analyze test results and validate product performance and reliability Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and efficiency Provide accurate quotation for new models from new projects to ensure company's continuous growth Seek new test technologies for employee development and customers' value added Set up a failure analysis group to track cost‑effective test reject inventory and reporting process related failure Set up a test development group to increase company value and satisfy customers' needs Provide cost reduction through automation and process simplification Provide meaningful and timely feedback on employee performance, including conducting annual performance appraisals and developing training plans Hire, train, and manage test personnel to support company production ramp and new business start‑ups Prepare recommendations for testing and documentation of procedures to be used from the product design phase Experience in developing and executing test plans and procedures You Must Have Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities Experience with test methodologies and tools In‑depth knowledge of test engineering in the SMT industry Knowledge in computer hardware and software Ability to handle complex engineering issues and provide engineering solutions for company operations Experience with commercial and custom automated test equipment Ability to work under tight deadlines with frequently changing priorities Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and communicate regarding common scientific and/or technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Honeywell's software packages Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exist Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram Experience creating automated tests using LabView, Net (C+ and Visual Basic) software environment We Value Minimum of 8 years of work‑related experience, minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience required Strong leadership and mentoring abilities Ability to drive results and meet deadlines Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills Passion for innovation and continuous learning Experience with quality management systems and processes #J-18808-Ljbffr
