Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Finance Supervisor. What you’ll do The position is responsible for day‑to‑day Finance Operations activities such as costing, budgeting, financial planning, and analysis. Preparation and analysis of weekly payroll projections, including participation in forecast and annual Profit Plan processes. Coordinate and perform variance analysis of forecast, WOR, month‑end closing, and Profit Plant. Provide advice on key business and finance decisions around day‑to‑day activities at the plant to the Plant Finance Manager or Leadership. Drive productivity and efficiency of the plant through analytical insights and provide actionable solutions to performance gaps. Identify and communicate any R&O to the Plant Finance Manager and Leadership. Act as the Finance business partner to Operations, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to deliver products safely, efficiently and effectively. Supervise costing activities including burden rates calculations, annual cost roll‑up and physical inventory. Costing support for new products, such as cost models and tail analysis. Measure performance against goals and proactively seek opportunities. Identify finance process opportunities to enhance efficiency using CI tools, focusing on Oracle ERP transactions (Swissco process) and interface errors. Provide timely financial reports and ensure compliance with plant and division due dates according to the calendar. Contribute to the development of CI strategic initiatives and business case elements related to cost, quality, and KPIs. Build organizational capability focusing on talent attraction, development, retention, and an inclusive work environment, including succession planning processes. Drive financial integrity and SOX compliance according to Eaton’s Ethics and Values; solve financial issues applying GAAP and Eaton policies. Use digital technology and processes for creative problem‑solving and to improve speed and effectiveness. Support EBS Pull events and lead development and implementation of training plans for all levels, supporting a continuous improvement culture and utilization of Eaton Business System policies and processes such as ELSS, CIF, PRO‑Launch, IATF/EQS. Perform activities according to the Quality and Environmental policies established by the business (see Quality Management System Responsibilities). Promote and apply continual improvement initiatives, actively participating in all continuous improvement activities in the area of responsibility using EBS processes and tools. Perform payroll forecast and variance analysis. Environmental Responsibilities Separate dangerous residues from the normal trash. Place the dangerous residues (gloves, cloths, etc.) in the assigned containers. Maintain area clean and free of contaminants. Do not waste water or electricity. Report any activity that can put in risk my safety and environment. Identify and give adequate disposition to all chemical products which can contaminate the environment. Act immediately in chemists’ discharge case. Ensure the rights containers for disposition of dangerous residues (identifying containers and containers to prevent discharge). Quality Management Responsibilities Ensure the integration of the quality management system requirements into the organization’s business processes. Ensure that the quality management system achieves its intended results. Promote the use of the process approach and risk‑based thinking. Ensure that the resources needed for the quality management system are available. Communicate the importance or effective quality management and of conforming to the quality management system requirements. Engage, direct, and support people to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality management system. Promote improvement. Support and participate in the Fresh Eyes Audit, ISO IATF/EQMS Policies/ Group Procedures/ Local Procedures, etc. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related fields. At least 4 to 5 years of experience in Operations Finance in a Manufacturing plant. Strong knowledge of costing and Swissco process. Planning and Forecasting. Manufacturing Productivity and efficiency. Cost Management. Experience with Oracle ERP and finance, strong Excel skills; Oracle Planning and Power BI (preferred).
