Job Overview The Senior Tooling Stress Engineer leads structural validation and optimization of complex manufacturing tools, jigs, and fixtures, ensuring safety and operational integrity. The role involves performing and overseeing advanced static, stability, and dynamic lifting analyses for critical ground support equipment (GSE) and assembly systems that support aerospace hardware. What You Will Do Lead the structural validation and optimization of complex manufacturing tools, jigs, and fixtures to ensure safety and operational integrity. Perform and oversee advanced static, stability, and lifting analyses for ground support equipment (GSE) and assembly systems supporting aerospace hardware. Provide technical leadership in resolving complex challenges related to load paths, failure modes, material selection, and structural optimization. Mentor junior engineers and support the development of analytical capabilities and engineering best practices within the team. Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and international teams to drive process improvements, standardization efforts, and successful project execution. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural analysis, specifically focused on tooling stress and ground support equipment. Demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical projects within a collaborative environment. Good understanding of load paths and failure modes. Technical writing and PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with FEM tools and analysis software such as Nastran/Patran, Hypermesh, ANSYS, and hand calculations. Ability to express technical problems, issues, and opportunities clearly to peers and leadership. Experience using and validating software and continuous improvement tools to solve engineering problems. Awareness of assigned tasks and activities related to product metrics. Communication and presentation skills with the ability to work collaboratively with international teams. Verbal and written communication skills in English. Current travel visa to enter the United States. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in identifying manual engineering processes and developing automated scripts to drive continuous improvement and eliminate human error.
