Role Rebag is currently hiring for a passionate buyer to join the Buying team. As a buyer for Rebag, the ideal candidate would have experience in luxury goods, exposure to the resale market and an understanding of pricing. This role is not a traditional buying position but more of a conventional approach to buying as there is a heavy focus on analytics. The role reports to the Director of Buying. Responsibilities Researching : Assist the buying team with research for our six categories; Handbags, Accessories, Watch, Jewelry, Shoes and Apparel. The information they gather is vital to decision‑making. Understanding luxury market and having sound knowledge about different luxury brands and their seasonal collections is important for this role as well. Pricing : Understand how resale pricing for luxury goods works. Research market trends and resale market price comps. Work extensively on client submissions and learn to recognize high‑end designer trends, models and SKUs from our database and site search. Determine buying and resale prices and establish margin based on market research. General Buying : Organize various buying process guides, team learnings and buying documents. Perform buying support duties such as updating data, exporting and tracking files, and responding to general buying inquiries from other departments. Requirements 2 to 5 years of solid buying experience acquiring final products at fashion brands or department stores Highly quantitative and comfortable using spreadsheets, Excel, and doing retail math Previous experience managing OTB is preferred Strong analytical and logical skills Previous luxury and resale knowledge will be a plus Strong sense of teamwork; ability to take feedback and work closely with other buyers Excellent organizational and multi‑tasking abilities; handle multiple tasks efficiently throughout the day and week Research‑minded and detail‑oriented Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment while maintaining a positive, ownership‑focused mindset Ability to operate fully remotely and digitally, and work from home professionally and rigorously Excellent English verbal and written communication skills Ownership mentality, highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work with cross‑functional teams Willingness to quickly and efficiently adapt in a rapidly changing start‑up environment Long‑term commitment and growth with the company #J-18808-Ljbffr
