We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic LATAM Treasury Ops Lead to lead our regional treasury activities. LATAM is a dynamic and complex market requiring proactive liquidity management and rigorous risk mitigation. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing regional cash management, executing efficient cash repatriation strategies, managing foreign exchange (FX) exposure, and navigating local capital controls. You will also lead, manage, mentor, and develop a small regional team of treasury professionals. Key Responsibilities Cash & Liquidity Management Oversee daily cash positioning and liquidity management for all LATAM entities to ensure sufficient operational funding Develop and maintain rolling short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts, identifying potential funding gaps or trapped cash risks Optimize the regional banking structure, managing bank relationships, negotiating fees, and ensuring rationalisation of bank accounts Drive the implementation of treasury automation and digital solutions to streamline regional operations Cash Repatriation & Capital Optimization Design and execute efficient cash repatriation strategies (e.g., dividends, intercompany loans, capital reductions) to move excess liquidity back to the Parent Partner closely with the General Tax, local Finance Operations, and Legal teams to navigate complex local regulatory environments, withholding taxes, and central bank restrictions (especially in highly regulated markets) Monitor local statutory requirements to ensure full compliance when executing cross-border cash movements Foreign Exchange & Risk Management Identify, quantify, and mitigate FX exposure across the region, given the volatility of LATAM currencies Work with abroad Treasury team to execute FX trades and recommend hedging strategies (e.g., forward contracts, options) in alignment with our corporate risk management policies to protect the P&L and balance sheet from currency fluctuations Assess and manage counterparty credit risk with regional financial institutions Monitor macroeconomic and political developments across LATAM that could impact liquidity, currency valuation, or capital mobility Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership Directly manage, mentor, and develop 2 treasury professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, accuracy, and continuous improvement Act as the primary Treasury advisor for regional business controllers, FP&A, Tax, and Legal teams Ensure rigorous compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and corporate treasury policies across all LATAM operations Identify projects to continually improve LATAM operations efficiency Qualifications Experience: 7+ years of progressive corporate treasury/finance experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on LATAM treasury operations Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or postgraduate degrees are desirable) Language: Fluency in English and Spanish is required; Portuguese is also beneficial Technical Skills: Deep understanding of LATAM capital controls, FX markets, and cross-border repatriation mechanics; proficiency with Tier‑1 Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and major ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP) Leadership: Proven experience managing and developing direct reports will be a plus Attributes: High level of emotional intelligence, candor, and the ability to communicate complex financial mechanics in plain language to non‑treasury stakeholders #J-18808-Ljbffr
