Job Overview AlertMedia is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with full‑stack experience and proven ability to build scalable applications in Elixir and Python. The role involves working across the entire stack, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams, and leveraging AI tools to enhance both the product and development lifecycle. Responsibilities Learn the AlertMedia platform and tools, and their application for our customers. Develop and maintain software solutions using Elixir, Python, JavaScript, and related web technologies. Incorporate AI tools into both the product and the development process. Work in an Agile environment using Git, JIRA, CircleCI, and Slack. Contribute to the technical leadership that distinguishes AlertMedia from competitors through innovative development and new ideas. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with engineering and product teams. Support and promote AlertMedia’s culture, values, and vision for the future. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field (preferred). 6–8 years of experience building scalable applications with modern frameworks such as Elixir, Python, JavaScript, Django, and React. Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or equivalent cloud platforms. Hands‑on Postgres and Redis development. Proficiency in leveraging AI tools for product development. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, challenging environment. Outstanding communication skills and cross‑functional collaboration. English proficiency (written and oral) is required. This position is based in Mexico.
