Responsibilities Manage the laundry operationsto include all guest room/suite linens and all linens for multiple outlets andcatering/convention facilities, fabric repairs, and/or guest dry cleaning services to ensure product quality standards are met and that optimum serviceis provided to hotel guests according to hotel and company business objectives. Possess a complete knowledge ofwashing, spotting, starching, dry-cleaning and pressing techniques Ensure that all items launderedand dry cleaned within the hotel’s laundry are finished to the highest standardachievable and returned to the guests or staff in immaculate condition Organize movement of dirty andclean laundry and of guest valet service Ensure all damaged linen anduniforms are sent to the uniform room for repairs or discarding Control and record chemicalconsumption and reorder as required Assist in maintaining recordsof stock and equipment Supervise all employees withthe Laundry Department Ensure an accurate valetdelivery Ensure daily production recordsfor linen and uniforms are maintained Ensures that regular preventivemaintenance is carried out and reduce downtime with proper coordination withthe maintenance department Works with Superior and HumanResources on manpower planning and management needs Works with Superior Director ofFinance in the preparation and management of the Department’s budget. #J-18808-Ljbffr
