Linux Systems Administrator (L2/L3 – Critical AWS Production Environment) Contractor (PJ) – LatAm On-Call Rotation Required Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to support and maintain enterprise Linux infrastructure across on‑prem VMware and AWS cloud environments. This role is focused on system stability, security, performance, and lifecycle management of mission‑critical servers. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Amazon Linux environments Perform OS installation, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning Manage VMware‑hosted Linux servers and AWS EC2 instances Build and maintain RHEL images (AMIs) and manage system configurations Implement and maintain Red Hat Satellite for patching and repository management Manage storage and volume management (LVM, SAN, NFS, iSCSI) Integrate Linux systems with Active Directory (SSSD/Kerberos) Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues Support enterprise security initiatives including CIS hardening, logging, and endpoint tools Collaborate with DBAs, application teams, and infrastructure partners Required Experience 7+ years of hands‑on Linux administration experience Strong RHEL 7/8/9 and/or Amazon Linux experienceExperience supporting Linux in VMware and AWS environments Familiar with automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Splunk, etc.) Strong troubleshooting and enterprise production support experience Nice to Have CyberArk or vaulting tools #J-18808-Ljbffr
